Robin

My name is Robin Khoury, and I homeschooled my two boys for sixteen years. I started in 1990 and finished in 2006. I am so grateful to God for leading me to and through my homeschooling journey.  As a graduate of government schools and beauty college, I feel as though I got most of my own education while homeschooling my sons.

Through the years I helped my husband in our restaurant businesses, as well as taught about everything there was to teach children at my church. Eventually I designed and published a curriculum for new Christian Children called Answers For New Christians.  That led to another book called BiC’s Baptism, a picture book about a little boy who is afraid to be baptized. My new release is the Grumpy Monk, coming this fall. The Grumpy Monk is a picture book for children about Brother Lawrence, who wrote The Practice of the Presence of God.

Nowadays I spend my time tending my websites, writing,  cooking, cleaning, gardening, and taking care of my boys who still live at home. I am blessed to share my struggles, victories and hopefully some encouragement to younger homeschooling mothers.
